Adger I agree if any racers want to work with me I can help out with diapers .I know we have saved a lot of cars and drivers .I do not want a bunch of crap over this post I am here as a racer and yes I run a business that builds safety equipment.We are currently working with a lot of Stock/ S Stock racers now give me a call with any questions anytime Dennis Ridgeway 217-454-5289

I don't think they let those guys use wheelie bars.......maybe they should rethink that one.

Actually there is another video of him with a wheelie bar on youtube. The car does almost the exact same thing at the exact same spot on the track. All four wheels were off the ground for 100-150 feet.
I believe in this case the car is more than likely not set up correctly. A pro stock car would do the same thing if its nose was set to high off the ground and air got under the car. After viewing this video it looks like the correct use of many required safety equipment items saved this guy. As a NHRA chassis inspector, one thing that stands out to me in this crash is the rule requiring a rocker bar as part of the SFI rollcage spec. The car takes a hard hit in the driverside rocker bar area when it lands on top of the concrete guardwall. The results of the hit in the rocker bar area can be seen later in the video.
There are always factors that go into causing an accident to happen. While not a complete assertion of survival, the correct use of required safety equipment definitely increases your chances of "walking away" from an incident. The next time you make a pass down the track, be sure you pull your driver restraint belts tight just in case something unforseen was to happen. Dennis drives he car for BB&T out of north Mississippi and this is a very well built and prepared car built by Skinny Kid Race Cars. Crew at BB&T have been trying to get this new combo sorted out for a few races and luckily Dennis is Ok.

Bill really I did not know that .I was adding to the original post that read the need for safety equipment.This is a serious matter to all of us racers thankfully the car was built good and he is ok.

This isn't a ctiticism of the driver just a question.It seems that after the car went up the first time that he stayed in the throttle,allowing the second wheelstand,which put him over.Did I see that correctly?
