Default DP rockers and shafts

Anyone have any thoughts on which rockers to use on the DP Challengers? What about shafts? I read on this forum about aftermarket rockers being 1.65 instead of 1.60 and wondered what is the best to use. I don't want to buy something that wont pass tech. Thanks!

Depends on if you are talking Stock or Superstock, wedge or hemi. The wedge is wide open for SS but as mentioned before Jeff can likely help with advice if Stock. As for the hemi. Jesel and Indy both have $$$ setups for SS, and Stock is what came on the 5.7 and 6.1 on the showroom cars and trucks.

I plan on running stock, I just figured there would be some flex in the stock shafts and wondered if anyone is replacing them with aftermarket. Trend Performance has a set of hardened shafts with hold downs for $1600. Kinda pricey but maybe worth it, not sure. Thanks for the replies.

I would not buy anything until I was sure it is ok with nhra. The shafts are probably ok, but the hold downs etc.; watch that. Not all are approved.

Thanks Jeff, I'll check before I buy anything. By the way I have a 2010 R/T in B-5 blue and originally thought about doing my DP like it. I guess you beat me to it, lol! Looks great, I saw it at Indy but I couldn't find you around your pit. Hope to meet you in the spring when mine is ready.
