Default Resistor or non-resistor spark plugs?

I am familiar with resistor plugs and wires for radio reception, but in a race car are non-resistor plugs best? For example, Autolite copper non resistor #295 say "small engine" on the box. Will they upset the MSD box?

We run Champion RN9YC or old 300....N9Y on MSD 6/7 and have noticed No difference in performance.

Putting resistance in the spark plug would seem to defy the logic in putting a high output ignition with low resistance secondary wires in front of the plug.

Now whether or not an engine needs all that zap is another story...

And having the proper heat range may yield better results than anything else. OEM recommendations are a starting point and all options should be explored.

Run to Rund,
Is that your W-30 clone in MuscleCar Review this month?

yes, it is parts from about 12 cars made up to be a very close replica of the original 66 raced by Molnar and Brady through Rund Olds of Detroit. John Molnar gave me info and advice, and raced the car at the Olds club Nationals in 2007, getting e.t.'s equal to what he did in 1966.
