Just wondering what tracks other than MIR and Skyview would be able or want to host an IHRA divisional. Looking at MIR's websight, they have a divisional scheduled for April 8-10, 2011.

I think the Pittsburgh race needs to go back to being an in division claim for 1 or 3. For the folks who live in my area, most of the div 1 races are pretty far away. I would rather claim div 1, so thats why I feel that way.
Other than that, I would like to see some sort of stability come to Kanawha Valley so we could race at least one race in our home state.

From what I was told by a friend who is working at Pittsburgh, their ProAm will be August 6-7.

Greg,
Clay City spectator count was way down last year. I'm sure they lost their butt espically paying the booked in show for the 4th of July weekend. Look at the amount that has to be paid out for a Pro Am weekend vs. a bracket weekend. Don't be surprised if they don't have a Bracket weekend on the 4th of July and schedule the ProAm another weekend. The local bracket racers will fill the place and the track will be profitable. I enjoyed going to Clay City on the 4th of July. I went 2 times and got 2 wins and a R/u. The fans were great too.
I missed it last year because Piedmont had 2-5k races and a 10-k. It was only 90 miles from the house. That being said All divisions have less races this year 1) Because nobody is making money on them and wants to continue. 2) I was told less races should increase the car counts at the exsisting races.
