Default Ignition box

Wondering if I could get a little advice from a few on here, we are new to the class and in the process of building a truck. We started out building it for Pro Mod a few years ago but the class has gotten to expensive to compete in, so we have switched directions to run super gas up to top sportsman. I am not sure about different products anymore since we have been jr drag racing the past 5 years and lots has changed since I raced.
One of my first questions is I found a MSD 7220 on ebay and was wondering if this would be a good box to run, or would the 7230 be better?
Our plan is after she is comfortable with the truck to add nitrous to run TS.

Thanks,

The 7230 is a better choice since the AL3 has the built in multiple retards and rpm switching inputs and outputs. ....Something you'll need for Nitrous use.
I'd never buy a used MSD or any other ign. box ......You just never know.

Just look at a 7C Mallory. Much easier to use. We sell em and Mallory gave me one for a Dragster I built 5 years ago and my new SG Vette has one and they come with the simple to use controller and of course are didgital. Just look. Also listen to the guy who said "No used stuff"

That was part of you and I know how you are. You keep it. Some guy on a Pro Mod forum is using our Pro Mod car and I don't even know him. See you in Bradenton.
