Sonny's is proud to announce that we are building, which we believe is the first 1000+ cubic inch engine for drag racing applications.

Craig Olson from CEO racing, and it's major sponsor Rescue Voice, located in the Seattle Washington area, is the customer who will be taking delivery of this Monster later this year.

The new edition for Craig, will be this 1005 cu. in. 2150+ Naturally Aspirated Horsepower engine, that will feature Sonny’s New fully in-house CNC ported Special Edition GM Hemispherical Cylinder Heads, with the Ultimate Pro Stock Porting, for maximum Horsepower. I'm not sure, but do some think that this post about this 1,000+ cubic inch engine that Sonny has is a joke? That engine is for real. At East Coast Drag Times Reunion we talked a some length about the engine. He had been working on it but wasn't sure when he would complete it. At the price of the 950+ cu in engine, he had at the show, this motor will be mega bucks; however, he said that if he finished it he already had it sold. The GM "Hemi" heads are for real and at a cost.
