I have a 1970 nova and want to find out whats the biggest slick i can fit.
the car has stock width rear,shocks are in stock location. also need to know what size rim and back space i would need. I am just bracket racing it. any information would be helpful thanks!!! |

I have M/T 29.5x9" slicks mounted 15x8' wheeles with a 5.5" backspace.

I run the 30/9 hoosier radial on a 8 inch wheel I think it is a 4.5 back space but not positive. The hoosiers have a little narrower than most other brands.

I have a 1/4" spacer on each side, and yes it's a tight fit.
