I grew up in Irvington.....Moved west when I was about 14...
Thanks to my parents for getting outta there in 1962 as it became pretty bad in many areas of the town...... Trivia question..... Who is the most famous person to go to Irvington High School......???? A very famous Comedian and once had a partner equally famous....

Yeah,I cheated.I thought at first it might have been Lou Costello,then I remembered he used to make references to Patterson NJ,where he was born.And Bud Abbott was born in Asbury Park.Incidentally I looked up Oliver Hardy.He was born in Harlem,Ga. and his father was a Confederate soldier,wounded at the Battle of Antietam.Us drag racers are a
