Sounds like Ray Allen's at 1.2 mil. Heard it was sold after that for considerably less.

Was there more than one "Red Alert" Chevelle? I'm sure I'm not the only person that noticed the burnout pic is a '70 and the model version is a '72.
The Ray Allen ragtop was the Chevelle that sold for 1.2 million dollars, then resold a few years later for less than $300,000. |

The orginal car is a 70,the kit is a 72 as the kit was made in either late 71 or early 72 and AMT already had their molds changed over for the new year models.
