What is the preferred way of adjusting Schubeck hydraulic lifters?
Zero lash, preload or lash? Our car has a Ford 351C motor. Thanks |

All we do on Stock Schubecks is adjust them so pushrods will barely turn with
dry fingers at right position on valve adjustment chart ....Then readjust them again with the engine warm the same way. Awful simple minded but seem to work for me over the years....do make sure the lifters are pumped up to top if they leak down as some soon do.......preoil engine again......repeat as required. |
