Default converting drive by wire set-up to throttle cable

I have a 2011 Mustang GT automatic with drive by wire that needs to be converted to a direct throttle linkage/cable for Stock Class racing.
Anyone with info please pm me.
Thanks

Unless you are converting your 2011 GT to make a Cobra Jet look-a-like, then it is not currently legal to run in NHRA Stock. (not sure about IHRA)

Too bad tho, as the new 2011-2012 Coyote Mustang GTs are just plain awesome !

Can you convert a new 2011 GT to a Cobra Jet? I thought the "race only" versions were all serialized, therefor you can't duplicate them.

Hopefully I'm wrong..............

You can build your own if you want. The VIN has nothing to do with it, nor does a serial number anywhere. You can build it from a body in white if you want, or any Mustang the right year and body style you buy off the lot.

Thank you, Alan! I stand corrected!

LOL. It's like anything else Lew. A guy once said that there were more 69 Camaros racing in Stock Eliminator and Super Stock than Chevrolet ever built. He might just be right.
