My hubby & I just spent 10 days there, visiting the Mayo Clinic. Thought I was going to die, it was so hot! Yea, it's dry all right! lol

An 'ol business friend who is from the Chandler, AZ area once told me "when you spit on your driveway and it fizzes off, IT'S HOT!". He grew up in the Chicago area.

Yea, he's ok. The "old" guy I'm married to has rheumatoid arthritis so we went to Mayo for 2nd opinions. Great place. All my kids are now done with college & law school, all now employed. I'll have my l'il ole Volare out a lot more next season! College expenses sure kicked my racing budget! ;-)

Hey, I resemble that remark!!!!!!

Jr @ K-State, NCAA D1 athlete, rides/competes on the equestrian team. Teams taken 2nd place in NCAA championships last 2 years. Thank goodness there is scholarship involved!
Yea, Mayo is a great place, figured out was was causing wife's problem when no one else could even come close, pretty smart group that KNOWS medicine and isn't practicing.....
Hope the arthritis problem turns out ok.
See ya soon,

Ok,,, sometimes it gets a little warm here in the summer.... 118-122, but who counts a few degrees LOL It's the winters that make it worthwhile, racing in Dec. and Jan.

Not only is it low humidity that makes the sun bearable, we don't have those damn mosquito's attacking you!
It's very nice weather here. Just wear a hat. I'm actually going to go to the races Friday followed by the Tom Yancer 18th annual BBQ at his shop in Chandler; starts at 6:00. First time I've been to a National race in a long time. I tried to pay my chassis / engine builder Bud Yancers way in to the races so I could smooze him into putting some more effort into getting my car done. No luck, he's busy. Not on my car mind you...
