We had a good time at the BIR banquet Sat. night.
I am happy to announce that we WILL be having S/SS combos at BIR in 2012! Race dates: MAY 11-13 (Div 5 points meet JUNE 2-3) JUNE 8-10 JUNE 29-JULY1 JULY 20-22 AUG. 3-5 (Lucas Oil Nats. Aug. 16-19) SEP8-9 I don't have all the details yet. I will post as soon as I get them. Thanks to all who came out and raced in 2011 to keep this going! Glen DeMenge |

Glad to hear they will have S/SS next year and thanks again for making it happen this past year! I wish I could have made it to the banquet!

Why run 1/8 mile on a National Event facility? Last race same weekend as Earlville may not be the best plan.

I think 1/8 mile would be fun, and it would be a lot easier on the track for maintenance without having the last half of the track to take care of. And it would be a faster run program. With the cost of preparing the track and the labor involved to do it I think it would help the track's bottom line.
