ok a new post > We are doing a simple post about racing.
Since the tracks, decisions makers and owners in drag racing have required all racers to update their safety equipment all the time . We are interested in knowing what have the tracks , decision makers and owners at tracks have done to up date their safety at their tracks > meaning like using better glue, or getting the latest's cleaning machine or different guard rail ??? we are just curious about what they have done to make our racing at their track safer???

Don,you only find out when an incident occurs.I've been at Englishtown when something happened on the starting line and someone grabbd a fire extinguisher. You would have gotten better results with a dog whizzing on the fire.Other times the emergency crew and equipment were fine.

both local tracks here have new sweepers, and they work good. Other than that I don't know.

I think Gainesville got a new net a couple of years or so ago. I'm not sure how expensive it was, but I'm sure Woodro can give you a good guess.

I don't race there very often, but I understand that Great Lakes Dragway is getting a Power Boss Track Scrubber.Seems like a good idea for all tracks.
