Default IHRA Stock classification?

I was wondering where do you look to classify a combo for IHRA Stock, or Pure Stock? Do you just use the NHRA Specs, or ???

Default Re: IHRA Stock classification?

Generally, yes. IHRA rates many combinations' horsepower different from what NHRA does. The LT-1 and LS-1, for example, are both 325 hp in Pure Stock. I think they are 340+ and 370+, respectively, in NHRA.

IHRA has a few other differences. Any car, that came as a stick-only, can put an automatic in, or vice versa.

Find Danny Waters Sr on here and send him a P.M. for specific questions. He can better help you than I can.
