ClassRacer is a great source to keep up with the news on the COPO cars but for those looking for more, make sure you check out the new GM Performance site: www.TheBLOCK.com. There is an owners sign in forum that is ongoing and make sure you look back over the last few weeks of news to see numerous COPO articles. Some great pictures also and lots more coming shortly I'm told. As the first cars are now in the hands of their owners, the fun will really begin. This is gonna get very interesting.

For me, I have created a registry of the 2012 COPOs (by no means "official)--and my current list has 11 accounted for;assuming the info I have gathered from various sources are correct! If anyone has current knowledge about a documented car, please email me: raceannouncer@gmail.com . The sames goes for any 2013 model as well, since I don't have ANY of those!

Hi Gary,
2012 COPO #68 is a triple black convertible with white graphics. It has the 327/4.0-liter supercharged engine option with a manual transmission (sorry, I don't know the brand at this time). The engine will be hand built by GM North America President, Mark Reuss in Wixom on 2/27. The car will then go on perminent display in the GM Heritage Center. For 2013, we are gathering names of those of you interested in purchasing a COPO. Get on the COPO Mailing List at ChevroletPerformance.com. We'll be randomly ranking that list of names in early March, and, mostly likely, I'll be calling those potential buyers on March 4. Look for a press release to hit next week once all of the final information (engine options, transmission options, colors, pricing, etc.) is in place. Again, thanks for your interest in COPO and all things Chevrolet Performance. And, a special thanks to all of the current COPO owners that live in the community - you folks are the best marketing we have! Thanks, Jamie |

There is a running COPO owner registration list over on the GM Performance site: www.TheBlock.com I do not know how many owners have posted there but I think possibly around 20 of the 66 privately owned 2012 cars. No problem with doing a second list but the GM site is off to a good start and as we get the word out on TheBlock it should fill up nicely. It can also be a good spot to update owner info as cars change hands. I have noticed less COPO cars on the market lately as the very few "speculators" that got cars to flip have in fact sold their cars to people that will now keep and race these outstanding cars.
