Could be a mess. I talked with Bill Cassil yesterday and he is going forward with the traditional 3-day event, regardless of rumors.

Division 5 mgmt is going to try to run the rained out Topeka points race all on Thursday

I am imagining problems

We dropped trailers off Monday coming back from Indy and there were a handful of trailers left over from their Sept 1 & 2 S/SS race, but everything was mowed, clean and dry. It is a fun place to run if you haven't been there....maximum downhill slope, everything handy and good local fan turnout, plus a racer runs the place (if allowed)

What a great track to race at..........

We ran Earlville in 2004 and got the full guided tour from Bill..... Uphill to get into the lanes and the lanes run downhill.....Downhill on the track and uphill in the shut off.....Downhill to the scales & great chocolate chip cookies.....

And did I mention that the track was concrete and ground smooth as glass...

What a great track and nice people running it and it seemed that the NHRA Division 5 people actually liked the racers...

Wish that we could race there every year on the way back from Indy...

Bob

Im sure they will get the Topeka make-up done thurs if weather is ok, that place is run very well and will make every effort to git-r-done! Earlville is one of the most fun tracks around and can be fast and has the capacity for quite a few cars, good place for another Class Nationals Hint Hint Hint!!!!!!!!lolololololololol

Several here in Div. 5 have been saying Earlville would be a great place for another Class nationals for quite awhile now; great facility, well run and super nice people.

Based on his excellent organizing and promoting skills of the A/S and A/SA shoot out at Indy I suggest Jim Schaechter as another promoter for this, "just saying you understand".

Thumbs up Re: Earlville Entry ?

Well thanks for the vote of confidence guys, but i think there are guys much better than i
to get this going. Jim Schaechter, Alex,Glen what u guys think? I would be willing to help
in a secondary planning role just not take the lead. Is 2013 the year?

It seems like about 90 stockers and about 50 super stockers is the norm there...which is a pretty good turnout! Earlville is an AWESOME track, and the weather looks great too!

By the way, can I throw in another vote for Mr. Schaechter as the man in charge of the next Class Nationals?
