Will a 10 inch wheel with a 4.5 inch back space and a 9x30 slick fit in the stock wheel tube and do you have to modify the inner lip on the fender well?
Thanks

Since a '73 is still pretty close to a 68-72, you will need more offset. With an 8" rim, you need a 5" backspace. With a 10" rim, you are looking at close to 6" of backspace. Rolling the lip will greatly help with clearance. I am looking at 10" rims for my '70 but don't know if I want to deal with the aggravation of trying to make it fit. Hit search on this site for Nova wheel widths and a ton of information will come up.

The tire section width will be around 3/4" wider with the 10 inch wheel than with the 8" so you will have an easier fit with the narrower wheel.
