Default Parts for Onan generators

How would someone go about getting parts for a 4000 microquiet? My sons broke the rod, no damage to block or cylinder. Looks like could put crank, rod, piston and rings in it and go. However not sure on getting parts or service info.Hopefully he'll keep a better eye on the oil level from now on. Thanks Joe

Give me a call when you get a chance at 800-821-5973, please have your model and spec # from the ID tag. We will look up the whole engine assembly and we'll look up the parts you want, then you can compare the two different estimates and see which direction you'd like to take.

Most of the time, in my past experiance, it's cheaper and easier to go with a whole brand new engine assembly, so we'll look and compare.

Joe, give me a call. We just purchased ( last week) a new gas Micro Quite 4000 to replace our (2004 or 2005) as our old one quit charging and needs a new rotor. Replacing it was over a grand so we bought a new one. Its engine is perfect. It only had 1500 hours on it and its been well maintained...I could bring it to Columbus

Jeff, kids on board with that, it would be great if you would bring it to Columbus. Joe
