Default Question about class/combination fitment

Thinking about finally getting something to class race with, my question is where do you figure out what car fits where, and what combo it has to be? For example, if you wanted to run a '69 chevelle with a 350/4 barrel, what transmission would you have to run, what weight, class, etc.....Is it all in the rulebook? Is there a separate rulebook for stock classification? It's been quite some time since I've had a rulebook (since they no longer come with your national dragster once a year) so I really don't know. Thanks..

Joe
