I have a set of heads that are the correct castings for 1968 327/275/270 but the spring seats have been machined for bigger diameter spring, otherwise untouched. Can I use these on a stocker motor, or am I out of luck.
Thanks

Pretty sure it is not legal to use those if they have had the spring seats machined. Call the tech director in your division, or Glendora, and get a response in writing.

Thanks, will do. I doubt I can use them. Shame.

I have a set of 520t that have the spring cups cut. I called Travis and he said don't use them. However, since the valve spring rule changed(?), it might be worth another call....
