Default Why no NHRA Factory Car showdown

Its great that NHRA has Factory Stock race but it has only drawn some of the factory Stock cars. Why not include the factory super stock cars too? Isnt the attraction a tip of the hat to the past when the big three ran the 409's 406's and the Hemi's? .Why not run all of the factory stock race cars? That would gain the most interest in these new factory muscle cars.Like the ATI outlaw race at MRI in October. And why aren't the Big three auto companies putting up some purse money to promote their new 100k rides which have been a huge success?

The race you request should happen for stockers on Sunday.
Fans need to see these new super cars.
Maybe, just maybe, a 10 inch or 10.5 tire too.
Let them eat......... and fly.
