I ran there a few years back, prolly 2008-ish. There's an America's Best Value just a couple of miles from the track. Nuttin' fancy, but it was cheap, clean, and it was fine to the best of my recollection.

Thanks Larry I appreciate that....
I showed the pics to Kirk, he liked everything about it, sort of stiffened at the price. You take a trade 24 ft Pace with cabinets/Onan generator?? I'll pass along the info. RJ |

There are so many angles to respond to this it is difficult to figure which one to start with.

I thought that is why we fixed the A/C in your truck so you would have a place to stay.

I prefer to stay at one of the hotels on Garnett by I-244. The track is on Garnett and the hotels are about a 5 minute drive from the track. I've stayed at the ABV that Michael mentioned a couple times. It's like a typical Days Inn or Super 8. Inexpensive basic accommodations. There is a much larger hotel next door to the ABV. I stayed there right after it changed from being a Holiday Inn to a Ramada. I'm not sure what brand it is now. This weekend I'm staying at the Best Western which is on the other side of I-244 (about a block from the ABV) on Garnett. It is a full-service hotel with an onsite restaurant and a sports bar. Complimentary hot breakfast! I just checked their website and they have rooms available starting at just under $60/night plus tax! My room is $219 total for 4 nights, but I made the reservation about 4 months ago. http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwest...LqO9Sw__.b423a
