Good luck this weekend Michael and looking forward to your reports. I hate not being able to make this year but don't miss the 14 hour ride.

Just finished watching 3rd round of time runs and the nitro jam. Really enjoyed the coverage, kudo's to IHRA for their efforts in getting coverage for sportsman racing. Those fuel altereds were pretty cool too...those guys are crazy!

![]() ![]() Unk is none too pleased with the radar. IHRA is being proactive and in a pre-rain delay, instead of loading the lanes and running a handful of cars only to have to stop and restart later. We're clear after this line of storms goes through. They've been doing contests over the PA to keep us gainfully entertained. Just like they do at the Bracket Finals, Summit Racing Equipment brought a big ol' box of goodies!

![]() ![]() Then they made the mistake of calling out for a rubber duck. You really think I didn't have a rubber duck? Thanks to Myron Piatek for giving me the Duck Devil many many years ago. Won a set of AN wrenches. I did miss out on the umbrella contest as I hadn't gotten the Duckbrella out yet at the time. (Thanks to Mike Galuk for that gag gift many years ago... Still using it! Miss ya.) Bunch more random photos on my Facebook page... Sorry, kinda cumbersome to try to repost photos from there to here just on my phone. Go to www.facebook.com/StagingLight

Homer Carty won a new firejacket for successfully answering the trivia question, "Who was the first husband and wife to run each other in the finals of an IHRA National event (1997)?" We'll give y'all some time to try to come up with the answer so you can play along at home. ;-)
