Default no change

I've got an M/SA Malibu that runs 12.0's no matter what you do to it. We've changed all kinds of parts tested different tune ups and runs the same every time. The car doesn't even respond to weather runs the same in 4200ft down to 400ft. Has anybody else ran into this issue if so any help would be appreciated.

12.0's is a strong pass in M/SA, If you are trying to go faster,
look under the carburetor, you will most likely find the trouble there.
I.O.W./ Go to a dyno.

Sounds like you have your throttle stop figured out pretty good.

If you can run 12.0's in 4200 ft of air,I would say you should be able to get close to setting the record at a fast track when you figure out your issue.

I had that once with a car I had just put together. Ended up I had too much gear in it. First time out was at an altulitude track out in west Texas. Qualified 4th first time down the track. I was all impressed with myself until I got back home and didn't run any faster.
Bad air didn't bother it. Good air, it didn't care.
