Yea, I saw it at Atlanta some years ago. I think a foot ball coach owned it (name?) and was running a small block ford out of a NASCAR truck. Pretty cool.

Think you're talking about Jerry Glanville and his Super Comp car. Looks similar but kinda doubt it's the same car since Jerry's had a lot more Pro Mod type stuff added (huge wing). This Ford looks completely stock exterior but who knows. Always neat to see the old Fords out, Keith Fulp's red 58, Everett Hill's Comet Wagon, etc.

There are several ,49-'50 Ford shoeboxes running in he Super classes .
Glanvlle's is my favorite. I'm partial to them because I've been building a chopped ,shortened ,sectioned '49 coupe for a hot rod for myself for several years to have something cool to tow the Willys .
