Thumbs up Gumout contingency

Just wanted to let everyone know that gumout is paying at the track after the final 200 dollar buy in you can go buy the gumout display to sign up and purchase product or bring by your receipt from any other retailer to sign up national events only right now but maybe divisional level in the future it's been a while since someone has payed at the track so I hope everyone supports the program

I saw that I have a hard time justifying the need to have $200.00 worth of chemicals around the house that I may not ever use or the propellant will leak out over time. I'm glad they are paying just wish the requirements were less sort of like at the grocery store buy a large numbers of items you don't need to get the discount

Learned from a gunsmith years ago that Gumout/ carb cleaner has a very similar chemical composition as 'gun cleaners'. Works great and costs 1/3 price.

Buy in is actually 225 and goes to the driver not the car.

At Pomona there were no options to get anything other than carb cleaner.

You would think they would get alot more racers at around $100. I see that Grime Boss has lowered their buy in for this year.

Why would I want to spend $200 to take a shot at winning $300 . The last event I won was in 1971 . There are better ways to make money . LOL

I apologies for trying to bring another sponsor into a deal where so many are leaving they wanted to come in on the marketing side which would have been less money for them to spend and no money for you guys I don't work for gumout and my opinions are my own there aren't that many companies out there standing in line to support the sportsman racer I understand 200 is a little steep but the aren't as large a Company as you might think before long a trophy is all anyone will be racing for without supporting those who try to support you there has a lot of people who came up and shook the gumout folks hands and told them how much they appreciate their support some of those got checks this past weekend
