Default Kinda Live from Lucas Oil D6 Regional/Divisional

It was wet yesterday so I stayed home to prep the Mustang to get it's motor next week and took delivery of an SFI bell housing for it. Here are qualifying sheets from DRC as of closing Friday. Weather looks better today. Currently 61 and cloudy in Kent with sun and upper 70s for the later part of the day.

Good looking entry list with cars from California, Idaho, Nevada and Alberta Columbia joining the list of usual suspects from the Washington, Oregon and British Columbia area. Karen Comstock has that bad AAA/Whatever Mustang in the hunt. Should be a good day at the races. Stop by if you can. Regional today and Divisional Sunday. Might be the other way around. And they ran Top fuel Harleys last year...

Pics later. Sorry, no Internet at the track for me.

If the results are on DRC, just post a link to them. Everyone is going to cry and piss and moan when DRC goes away, so why not try and drive traffic to their site.

I was there all day and had a chance to visit with many friends. Once the track was ready the action was awesome. Lots of wheels up action by the super stocks and some great runs by most of the cars and trucks that made a pass in the 1st round of qualifying.

Shawn Cowie went 5.35 @ 267 and change in his blown alcohol dragster. Had a chance to visit with him for awhile and he seems to be doing VERY WELL. It is still hard to believe what all he has gone through and is still so upbeat and driving very well.

For more info and results from Friday or other days at Pacific go to www.dragracecentral.com and take a look. Several 6 second passes in both Top Dragster and Top Sportsman. They are not on site, (I don't believe) so the results are delayed to days end.

Due to other plans I can't be there today or tomorrow, so good luck to all the racers and hope it's a safe race and lots of fast passes by all the competitors.

OK. That's easier than running it through several applications to make it into something I can post here.

Super Stock Ladder for Sunday

Stock Ladder for Sunday

Not as sexy, though.

I was just checking DRC and no 1st round results from Pacific. According to the flyer and any info that I heard, 1st round, for all but the alcohol classes, was to be run on Sat at 4 p.m. Did they run out of time or were there problems that delayed the program??

Good luck to Pete Kost today (and everyone else). In about 3 weeks he will turn 81. Still out there doing what he loves.

Dale, this race is just a single event not like last year. Or that's the way I understand it.

Thanks for the update Bob. Should be a great final in s/s. Both Rick and Troy have been doing a great job lately. Mark Faul is in Bernie Plourd's chevelle and looks to be doing well with it.

Side note - How is Charlene's Cutlass doing?? Heard about the tranny problems you guys are having. Good luck to you at Indy.

Powerglide back in car. I think I have solution to direct clutch problem. I will try this fix, then put it on a trans dyno. if this doesn't work. I have a large sledge hammer that will remedy the problem!!!
