Live from Beacon, Paducah, KY
Well this is actually Sunday and I am finally getting an opportunity to post! First of all, thanks to everyone who came out and made this thing a reality! Thanks to the 37 Stock, Super Stock and Nostalgia Super Stock racers that came out to play with us! And to Beacon Raceway for providing us a great place to race! And to Kevin for running a great race! We ran by some of the old rules of Union Hill in Nashville in times past! Well more a little later! We are at Bowling Green today and they just called us to the lanes!

I meant to post yesterday but it was very busy all day. We got 1 open time trial, then 2 regular time trials, then started running. Jeff Dona was the big winner of $1554 plus a beautiful trophy. Mike Moss ran it up and Rob Petrie was the single semi-finalist. We had a beautiful day for racing and everything ran very smoothly. I have some pictures that I will post later. We just have our pickup truck and little trailer here, so I am running on battery power and it probably won't last very well.
As I said, we are at Bowling Green today for the last combo race of the season. It is another beautiful sunny day here too! 54 cars just made the 1st pass. |
