Bad time frame to be on the starting line. I believe nhra used some sort of sun light blocking panel one year. I think it worked OK. They should try something again because in many cases the racer who winds up in the left lane is really at a disadvantage in an already difficult situation.

So true Bruce... If you have never been there you just don't know how bright it can be.... Last time I was there had my tinted visor on my helmet and sunglasses... Still was late... (I'm blaming it on the sun...)

Mack, I think this would be a good issue for the SRAC.
