I'll say that I'm really happy for Larry 1st, BUT, wasn't the engine leasing deal one of Larry's biggest gripes ? and now he is leasing ?

Very happy for the Morgan family, I was at their shop two months ago when they were completing the shift fingers for me. I learned a lot of cool stuff when I was there. Also held some pro stock parts in my hand that I knew my life savings would not be able to replace if I dropped them..

Have always considered Larry a racer's racer...hope he does well. Kudos for getting some sponsorship help. Have to admire that kind of perseverance for running the tour for last several years without much success to show for it.

What I learned was one of the biggest problems with teams running other brands besides GM is that there aren't very many people with the expertise to tune a Ford or a Dodge to a fast time slip consistently. Combine that with a typical owners desire to win as soon as possible, their patience runs thin and they simply aren't going to take the time to get where Allen, V. Gaines, and Larry before the swtich are with their combos. Its hard to spend the money developing a combo that not very many have and ultimately, the odds are you can be more competitive with a GM much faster than any other brand because the knowledge base is much bigger. I personally dislike the diversity as well but it is what it is. Just thankful that V. and Allen are diehards or else there would only be GM's being fielded.

Sometimes you just get tired of beating your head against a wall that never seems to get any softer.
