Default math ?

I am going to CC a pair of heads. I have a burette, which is graduated in ML [which I assume is mililiters] what is the conversion from ML to CC?
please explain it completely.

They are exactly the same. One cc equals one milliliter.

We use the Metric system up here in Canada, I thought they were the same.
