Can someone please provide a nhra link that defines the FS/X classes? I've looked and have not been able to find any info. Specifically interested in the way they are set up and the rules. Thanks!

Ok, I have apparently checked everywhere except the right place. I want to find the nhra link/rule that states the FS/X cars are exempt from the ahfs. I know they are exempt but want to see it in writing.

Thanks Alan. Wonder why they have not put it in writing?
Jeff, you must have something in writing about the rules for these cars. I believe you were the first to post that they were exempt from the ahfs. Please share that information with us. I'm working on a new project and also need to know who gave the FS/X cars the exemption.

Bruce:
I think it's one of those "we don't talk about it" deals for NHRA. ![]() Too bad tho. Just my opinion here, but I believe it is the one final change NHRA needs to make in Stock Eliminator right now. Either make every Stocker exempt from AHFS at every event where the F/S cars are exempt, or make the AHFS apply to F/S cars all the time. I like to watch the F/S cars run, but to allow them to run 1.2x-plus under index without any penalty while the traditional Stockers are penalized for going too quick is just... Just my opinion.

The Factory Stock cars are subject to HP
Factory Shootout Entries are not subject to HP

The only FS cars that are not subject to the AHFS are the Shootout cars (FS/X and FS/XX).
