Default Modifying motor mounts

I have an opportunity to purchase a legal IHRA crate motor car as a roller. The factory motor mounts were removed for a motor plate. Can I just weld some steel that resembles the factory mounts or do I need to change the K member.Did not see anything is the rule book that could shed some light. This is for a Mopar.

As long as the engine is still in it's original location you can just make new mounting brackets to attach it to the original k member.....mocking up a bare block and trans will get you where you need to be just make sure to get the overall height correct......
