Just talked to Pete Peery, he said not many people there at the moment. He also said it was very hot(92) Not much going on he was headed to tech, no lines at tech.

I was at the track yesterday, it was hot!
I don't think there was as many cars as last year when I was out on a Saturday. However I am sure more cars showed up this morning. |

About an hour ago some hit a power pole and the track is without power. They had just called the right hand side of the ladder.

Someone in a golf cart with a 30-foot tall flag pole knocked down a power line. They have brought in back-up generators to power the timing system if needed, but there has been/is a live power line on the ground in the shutdown area. That has to be fixed before racing can resume.

It was hot, 90 plus everyday, and the track hooked on every run. I think the starting line crew took great pride in keeping the track in great shape. I thank you for giving us a good place to play. I hope to race there again.

Our starting lines are always like that. Div 4 has the best crew I've ever raced with. Always the best.

The fool that took down the power line at Tulsa did point out something I have not paid attention to in the past. How many tracks have power lines running across the track? Not sure that is a good idea. Don't want to cause the people at the Tulsa track any more grief, but this should probably be looked at.
