Default 72 pontiacs+ 12 HP

I see NHRA added 12 HP to 1972 Firebirds with 455-Ram Air.Good run by Scott Burton, but it cost him! Too bad it wasn't between a couple of F/S cars!

Actually it was Brad's car. He went 1.208 under in the 2nd round. Had he gone 1.199 he wouldn't have gotten horsepower - .009 cost him 12 horsepower - WOW.

Question here.
So if that car is running f/sa. Will the index be lower or just that combo will have horsepower added. So let's say a vechicle that fits in f/sa will not have to worry about him running to fast.

Tom, I'm thinking Ram Air maybe worth it if everyone had to run factory air cleaner assembly.

Curious weight wise is the scooped Ram Air hood fiberglass rather than steel?
