SGMP suffered major damage as a result of the weather we had down South this past weekend. Spokesman for the raceway have said they hope to be back in business within three weeks. Luckily the tower was spared by the tornado that touched down last Saturday and devastated the small town of Adel GA that SGMP is very close to. A video released by the track gives you a good idea of some of the damage suffered:

Oklahoma has it's share of those things. Very devistating. I hope nobody was hurt. No fun to clean up after.

This storm killed 19 or 20 people with in a few miles of the track. A huge area was wrecked by it.
