Default Keep Division 4 racers in your prayers

Many live along the coast: Emmons brothers, Bill McClister and many others. I know many will be racing but praying for minimal property damage from Harvey. Already have my car up on jack stands.

I live in the place where Harvey is going to make landfall. (Rockport) It is now a cat 3 storm. The shop that is owned by son and his partner is 3 blocks from the water. They have a number of high dollar exotics and managed to get them all out of the area. The cars that did not get hauled out were the 3 drag race cars, mine a 97 Firebird that I bought last Nov. and have just finished getting it ready to race. Also a Cobra Jet and a Drag Pack. The shop probably will not withstand the storm plus a 12 foot storm surge is predicted. I know loosing a race car is not important compared to the thousands that are going to loose their home and business.
I live in my RV and of course I got out of there. My son insisted I leave on Thursday and I left and drove to Bowie, Tx. My buddy Pete Peery lives in Bowie so it seemed like a good place to hang out and it is out of the storm path. My son got his family out of there early this morning.
I don't know if have ever had many things depress me as much as thinking about all the damage that will be done and it has the potential to just about wipe Rockport-Fulton off the map. When I think about it, loosing a racecar is nothing.
