Has anyone had any experience with converting there wheels to beadlocks there are single and double conversions available. I know it adds weight but not that much they have it down to about 3.3 lbs per single lock. The tire has moved about 1 inch in 1-2 events

I always put a mark on the tires by the valve stem. Mine have always moved some at first. Have always stopped moving by the second race. Tubeless, 13 psi. Learned to not lube beads when mounting. Just mount dry.

Champion Beadlock does good work and they are fast! I've never seen one move on a single Beadlock yet .

Holeshot Wheels in Bunnell, FL does their own as well as other brands.
https://holeshotwheels.com/collections/beadlocks My tires have moved also, but less over time. I also swap them side-to-side after every race to minimize any change in balance and tread wear.

I know that but is there any difference in the way they perform? Do you need the clamping on both sides? I've always used screws but I just got new wheels and I don't want to drill them.

On my last set from Larry Hodge we bead locked the front and knurled the rear so they won't go anywhere. I don't see any way the back can move on a single ,but I'm not running the horsepower to worry about it. Big hp guys probably need double's.
