Brett, I use the stock 84 Z-28 springs with Air Lift bags @ 6 p.s.i. in left and 10 p.s.i. in
right. Hal Stocker Star shocks (setting #3). My car is a stick and weighs 3295 with me onboard. I use an Alf Weibe torque arm set-up, stock Z-28 stabilizer bar and no traction bars. Remember, each car is different along with driving styles. Hope this will get you in the ballpark. p.s. You will need nylon bushings on control arms and panhard bar. Reggie Winkles 4102 J/Stick |

I run a 86 trans am, i run the factory rear springs and lakewood 50-50 shocks, with a adjustable jeg's torge arm, i plan on changing the rear to adjustable afco or hal shocks over the winter. Just have to try different stuff to see what will work for your combo.

I Have A 91 Firebird That Has A 330 Hp Vortec That Runs Ihra F-crate Motor Stock .i Have The Stock Rear Springs With The Rubber Pad On Top Of The Spring.i Have A S&w Torque Arm And A Lakewood Panhard Bar.i Tried This Setup With The Air Bags And The Car Twisted Very Bad And Was Inconsistent On The Launch. I Then Removed The Air Bags And Installed A Set Of Joe Russell Adjustable Traction Bars And That Took Care Of The Twist And Inconsistency On The Launch. I Ran This Past Weekend At Carolina Drag Ways Ihra Meet And My 60 Ft Was 1.37 And My Time Was 6.78. I Would Not Even Consider Racing My Car Without The Joe Russell Bars. I Forgot To Mention The Rear Shocks Are 50-50 Lakewood. Hope This Helps.
