It's that time of year again. Time for another round of enhancements. My prediction is these will seem insignficatly small compared to what happens after the NHRA Pro/Sportsman split. Remember that ?
My guess, the other foot will be dropping soon. I haven't heard what the new entry fee's will be ?
Payout ? Grade points ? There IS a plan for us....I bet. If it were a happy plan, we'd be hearing some of those " what to expect " thoughts.

select few at any HDTV national events, pre teched

large proliferation of ENHANCED sportsnationals (7-14 events)
>enhanced entry fees
>no manufacturers
>less / no contingency (no spectators)
>poor payouts
>more fines & fees

continued combining of classes ... stock into superstock
huge addition of pro fwd rice burners
addition of ET bracket classes at sportsman events

when the spectators were sold we were the losers

Sooner or later Walley will have get out from behind the curtain and say..What the f*ck happened to my baby? Or it may come down to say..ummm mayme sportsmen racers using three men sling shots loaded with slick fifty ballons to enhance the track at national events before the pros go off. Now that would be a protest..just kidding..nobody do this..okay? lol

Hey Bobby and Dennis and all, glad you enjoy. All in good fun, I'm sure nhra is gettin a good chuckle too, right ?

For some that don't know, the skipper that seems so happy to go down with the ship is Tom Compton ( t.c. ) our illustrious leader. ( Looks like he's ready for a weekend at Bernies huh ? ).
Yes, those are S/SS--and the little retarded lookin kid has a .90 on his shirt ( with apologies to our fine .90 brethren ), on the bow horrified at what's coming next.

Somebody asked me whats written above the " Pro Stock Truck " on whats left of the tattered sail.
It says.... " Atlanta Dragway ".
For those that don't know, NHRA made interest only payments to the owner of Atlanta Dragway for years, and about 3 years ago or so he said enough is enough, I want my money now !
Well, in fine typical upper NHRA management style, they cut food per-diems from the people working the events, and asked all the middle managers to take a 10% pay cut.
Had to keep Atlanta, and oh yea, pay for that other wonderful management decision.....Pro Stock Truck.

So the sails already had big chunks missing, then the NHRA PRO finishes off the whole deal.
