It's that time of the year again where honor is given to either cubic inch displacements or advertised hp ratings of engines that fall between the 30 days in April! I learned some new additions to my list from last year, but those of you who have those engine/hp ratings within this month know where yours fall within, so have fun.....
Today fyi is 04/01 so this is the day to honor the 401c.i. AMC mill of the late 60's (early 70's?). However, 04/30 will conclude the month by honoring the advertised hp of the Chevy Z11 "Mystery Motor" 427 at "430hp"! I will also give belated honor for the month of March given there were several days during that month that gave honor to what I will regard as "Mouse Motor Month"! to wit: 03/02 was the date for both the 302c.i. Ford and Chevy small blocks. 03/05 was in honor of the 305 Chevy. 03/26 was in honor of the 326 Pontiac mill. 03/27 was in honor of the 327 Chevy mill, and 331 was the bored out version of the same motor. Any others please add, just for fun....

That's what I'm talking about, thanks Dwight and Myron!
Moreover, I believe the mild 396 from '66 was rated at 325hp, so there's another one (although not a mouse motor). However, if I'm not mistaken, wasn't the 327 rated at 325hp back in the 60's during at least one year of its production? Oh, and there also was a 307 smog motored Chevy back in the'70's.
