Nope............as long as you don't get carried away trimming around the headers.

"two fingers" clearance around those Stahl fenderwell headers was what you got from Greg X....
More than that and you were gonna be doing something to close it up... Been there, done that....

Used to be 1 Inch which was tough on my Max Wedge!
My 64 Belv. was tossed out @ Winters in 1977...We had to weld in metal of same gauge as original.
