Default 1975 Chevy Nova Stocker?

Is this a good combo with the 155HP 350 engine. I have offer to purchase one in very good shape for 1K.

Thanks

Dave

David if it's a stick car yea....if it's an auto not really....they just "hit" that combo with more Hp it's rated @ 283 Hp now ....so yea it'll run the index maybe even second under with ALOT of money but it's not an easy combo anymore. if you just want to run .3 or .4 under go for it!

Dave That combo is still not a bad combination. Depends on who does your engine and how much you know. Look the people that run that engine. They can still go fast. I guess with money , any combo can be good. Gary Parker

I was going to contact Gary McGlasson and see if he can do my engine, the ova is not too far from his operation. In the beginning the how far under is ont an issue. Its been a few years since I have been on the strip so I will just be a first round runner up.

I will need all the help I can get. There will be a few thousand stupid question asked as I build up this puppy.

I ended up with a 75 Camaro ( a real long story) that I thought I could start with, but the body had so much rust it was not cost effective to go with that platform. So it will be turned into a dirt circle track car. I can just rivet sheet metal over the rust quarters and fenders.
