I seriously doubt Brad Plourd, David Latino, Ray Miller 3, Jonathan Anderson, Ross Laris and Sandy Wilkins could care less that no one was in the stands.

I'm sure 8700 people who have died from this virus would happy to be in the stands. This crap is real and it's going to hit the fan.

It's about the economy and not a rapid increase in people getting sick currently here and around the world. In another post a racer called for a ban on "news and media" for 4 to 8 weeks because of his difficulties in making sense of it all, as if we live in North Korea. A group of racers hellbent on still racing, some in Washington! This is some of the most un-American BS I have ever heard. You all should be ashamed of yourself. An "American" in my world is someone who cares about others. Someone who steps up when a fellow man needs a hand. You all can step up and be an American hero right now by just staying home as much possible and stop bitching about it.

Whatever it takes to get through this. If some local tracks can work within the guidelines set down by each state and can have small events so be it. As long as everyone stays safe and healthy, that is the key to survival. Each individual has to determine what his or her safe zone is and abide by it.
I, personally, DID NOT go a small gathering last evening because of the small confines of the building that we meet in. The event at Pacific Raceways mentioned on another thread is happening but NO spectators or crew allowed. I, personally, said the event shouldn't happen My opinion.

Were you as scared over all the previous annual, more deadly, more pervasive flu seasons? Myself, peoples gullibility, fear, greed and opportunism is to be feared far more than an over-hyped annual flu season. Last edited by Oscarf164; 03-19-2020 at 09:38 AM. |
