I am planning on going to it. The seat time is needed, and it's a great tune-up for the points race 3wks later. Besides, I want this to be a successful venture.

That's my concern as well. So many events are postponed for the next 60 days....

I doubt it will be run - what with MGM closing all of their hotels and casinos in Las Vegas.

After all drag racing is not that important in the grand scheme of things.

CoVid 19 is going to impact us all - no matter what you think the media is causing.

It is people - miss information and panic caused by human nature.

NHRA statement concerning suspension of racing due to coronavirus pandemic
NHRA is suspending all NHRA drag racing for 30 days in response to the coronavirus pandemic. This suspension includes events at all NHRA-owned tracks and any NHRA-sanctioned events such as the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series and the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.

Greg, following the exact definition of the statement it doesn’t sound like NHRA is preventing this Vegas event since they neither own the track or sanctioning MATS.
