Hello all.
I am looking for conformation on the casting number for Mopar cast iron stage V heads sold under part number P4529993. This is the wedge head cut for 2.14/1.81 valves. I am in need of the discontinued P4529992 with the 2.08/1.74 seats. If I cannot find the P4529992 heads (legal for SS), I may need to substitute the P4529993 head and install smaller seats. The casting number should be 4532287 Thank You Gary Weaver |

I don't know if you are familiar with this one WWW.Moparts.com. If you don't get what you need here try it.

If you like, I can run that number through my parts dept tomorrow and see if any dealers have any. I know there are 101 of the 993 in Mopar inventory, and there were a couple in dealer stock in the west somewhere, at least according to my computer. Let me know. Jeff Teuton jefft@southlanddodge.com

There are no 992 heads showing in Mopar or dealer inventory. Try this (as I am doing). Send a letter or email to NHRA (racerinput@nhra.com) or IHRA telling them there are no heads available, which is a true statement. Ask them to consider the new P5153524 head which is available. This is a Mopar version of the Edlebrock aluminum head with a Mopar casting number with 2.14 / 1.81 valves and 11/32 stems. The heads have straight spark plugs unlike the Edlebrock which has angled plugs. We could probably accept a small hit as was done with both Ford and Chevy. The Chevy is a restamped Edlebrock, the Ford is an Edlebrock pure and simple. We have nothing but junk to run. I think I will send one now.
