Well almost live as we got home late last night and today was ugly busy .Whoever said i'd have more time to do things in my retirement was dead wrong.Anyway instead of shipping my trans and converter we drove instead .And thanks to JC Beattie we got the grand tour of their new digs.
First thing I noticed was United States flags all over.Turns out that they make most parts in house and the rest are sourced from US companies .No foreign stuff here . Next thing I really didn't expect - would you believe their shop is 103,000 square feet ? Holy cow it's huge and for the short time they're there it's almost full .I stopped counting the parts making machinery - mostly computer run but there must be 30 or 40 .Talk about modern this place is green - you know with all the latest low electric lighting not to mention the air conditioning and heating systems . Another neat machine is their trans dyno as I often wondered how they duplicated problems - neat deal as I got to watch one go thru the paces .

Part two - you'll see in these photos these guys have some inventory and it doesn't matter if you have 300 horses or 3000 they have you covered .Wish I had more space as I've taken a ton of pics but if I posted them all the monitor would surely not be happy .If you get the chance take the tour - you'll be amazed .
One last thing - you seniors out there that remember Jim Beattie - founder of ATI who loved our sport and and his company - this reporter can assure you he is looking down and smiling - proud of what ATI has become ! !
