I'm very curious for the sake of discussion and the opinions and thoughts of all you who race rectangle port combinations IE L-78,L-72,L-S6.Is the performance improvement of the later technology aluminum head worth the 10 horsepower/weight penalty? Am I wrong in thinking that surely they would make more HP than the original alum.head ?
P.S.Who is the go to person to do a set of Stocker heads ? A person who wants to learn..THANKS to you all. |

The late model accepted heads do make more Horse Power. The metal the newer heads are cast from is better. Yes there is improvements that are cast into the newer heads. Why don't you contact Glenn at B&B Machine in Oceanside N.Y. and discuss your needs with him. You can call at 1-516-599-7182 . Respectfully, Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA |

I believe that the heads are cast by Edelbrock with the Bowtie emblem in them.
