What would happen if the maximum weight was restricted to 120 pounds above the minimum?

more chromoly in the bars and cages(if it can be found) More rifle drilling of everything that can be drilled, other car weight reduction action. Even less of the classic car seat in the lanes, which is kind of sad, who doesn't like a houndstooth interior, hard to get too fired up over a aluminum covered seat. Maybe even a few diets, and some ultimate bitchfests for the bounced large dude/gal due to weight......lawsuit Theres nothing wrong with the existing rules, the unlimited weight rule it replaced was fun while it lasted. I normally carry an extra 120 - 130 # extra in the driver’s seat, just to be on the safe side.

I know that this wouldn't affect many people but the way that NHRA has "manipulated" the FWD weight breaks to keep from having to add ONE class it could be an issue with several combos.

Would it also be a problem for some of the cars in the one pound (and more) classes?

I’m thinking height limits would be a good idea. Maybe a maximum height of say 6’ 3”. For stock eliminator. Might be one competitor upset and a few happy! Lol!

Short drivers may use a cushion to prop themselves higher in the seat...and fill it with lead...
